DIY Mermaid Spray

If there was ever a DIY product that is ride or die for me- it’s this one.

DIY mermaid spray has been around for a while but it’s made a massive come back and it’s currently in high demand. I contemplated making pre-made mermaid spray and selling it to all the ladies in need but honestly I can’t add another thing to my plate at the moment. With moving and mothering and wife-ing and owning 2 businesses it’s just not worth it for me. It’s not like I’m going to get rich off of making mermaid spray lol. So I decided to focus on what I can do- provide you with all the resources to make it yourself.

I’m going to share where to get all the ingredients, what you’ll need and some common FAQs as well! Let’s get started!

Supplies:

8 ounce glass amber bottle

Witch Hazel

Essential oils: Lavender- Rosemary- Cedarwood Click the link to become a member and save 24% on your oils!

Place your oils in the glass bottle first and stir then around a little to mix them together. Next add the witch hazel, this helps your scalp absorb grease as well as scalp health as well. Plus it gives your hair amazing texture as well! And the witch hazel also helps your oils mix together a little better as well. And lastly top off the mixture with the 2 ounces ( 1/4 c ) water. I’ve found that adding that 1/4 c of water helps the mixture not be quite as texturizing for me since my hair is already so coarse and curly. You can use 100% witch hazel if you’re hair is really fine or less if your hair is more coarse/thick.

I use this mermaid spray in my hair every day and it has done wonders for my post partum hair loss and regrowth and is also the only thing I need to reshape my curls as well! You can make this by the quart ( just adjust the recipe) and just add however much you need as you go into your spray bottle.

And there you have it! So super easy! Be sure to tag me in your creations in instagram so I can see it!

Xoxo- Carrie
